Every year Amador High School participates in the Lenaea High School Theatre Festival with a student written, student directed One-Act play, male and female solo scenes, duo scenes, and vocal performances. In 2016 Amador students brought home a bronze medal for Jennifer Knight's solo acting scene, and 3 respondent's choice medals for Mac Cockerham's and Ethan Custodio's duo scene, Josh Lewis's  solo scene, and Claire Dixon's solo musical piece.
