If you feel like you would like to part take in the experience of Amador High Drama Department, whether as a a student in the program or a parent helping out in building sets and managing the ticket booth, then we would love to have you!

Course Catalog
If you are currently a high school student or an incoming freshman, then there are only a few steps you need to take to become a member of the Drama Department. One: Be enrolled at Amador High School. Two: Sign up for a Performing Arts or Dramatics class with your counselor. There are several classes that we offer, including:

  • Beginning Drama (Open to Freshmen and others. No audition necessary.)
  • Advance Drama (Must take Beginning Drama.)
  • Musical Theater (Not open to Freshmen. Must take Glee. Half year.)
  • Glee (Half year.)
  • Stagecraft
  • Dance (Open to all grades. Covers the basics of jazz, modern, tap, and ballet.)


If you are a parent or simply a student who would like to help out, we always need help building sets and making costumes. If you would like to participate in these activities, then check out any future times and dates on our Calendar. Community service hours available for seniors and others who participate.
